Larders, Larders and more Larders of 2023
It all begins with an idea.
2023 has began, but we wanted to take a look at the trends for larders. Over the last few years larders have never been more and more useful. Many designers have come up with new and innovative ways to utilise and customise their larder and we thought, lets add our expertise to this ever evolving pot.
The main reason for the need and rise of a larder in your dream kitchen is that storage is king! Larders often are designed to offer the most amount of space in your kitchen, be it along a wall or in the corner. They can be tall, short, deep, wide or even curved, but they all have the same purpose, storage.
Over the years we have had many clients have the traditional larder, which is beautiful, but we are finding that many of our clients now utilise thier larders for coffee or breakfast bars, or putting their built in microwave inside, to allow more space on their worktops. With house prices going up, and in theory kitchens getting smaller, these changes in larders allow clients to have an optimised space.
